Happy Tuesday my CC Babes!

It is becoming INCREASINGLY evident that you all love the CC Journal. Wild - who would have thought?!

Given you are all loving it so much and I want you to keep reading all the juicy-goodness in our Journal, I believe that positive reinforcement is the best way to go... just like how we teach men. So, we have teamed up with the angels at JS Health to bring one CC Babe the ultimate ‘healthy but delicious’ prize pack... Don’t say I don’t love you!!

A fun little fact that most of you don’t know: I am actually a certified nutritionist (we’ll be encompassing this within the CC brand a little more this year). As a nutritionist, I am very-much into looking after the body through food and I love to make sure this achieved through delicious and well-balanced meals that are easy to fit into your daily life. A tasteless salad that takes ages to prepare isn’t the vibe we’re going for. So, you can imagine my excitement a couple weeks ago when I decided to whip up the JS Health Cinnamon Scroll smoothie and realised I tastes JUST like a cinnamon scroll... but refreshing, cooling and is actually good for you. I get it, my mind was blown too.

This isn’t an ad or an affiliate. I just want to share a range of products that I love and I know are so good for you when you lead a busy and and active lifestyle. I REALLY encourage you take yourself to go grab some of their products - they are all AMAZING!

Okay, let’s break it down

Into a blender, pop:

  • 1 banana

  • 1 cup of ice

  • 1-2 scoop(s) of JS Health Cinnamon Scroll Protein + Probiotics

  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp of peanut butter (sub with other nut butter if needed)

  • A splash of maple syrup (got your period? A high-elbow will do the trick)

  • 1 cup of mylk (I love coconut mylk in it, personally).

  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds

Blend till your little heart is content!

This smoothie is something else. You are getting your protein for muscle repair, complex carbohydrates for sustained energy, good fats for brain function (actually, fats are good for everything), probiotics for gut health and immunity, and a little sweetness to kick those cravings and make you believe this is a naughty treat.

I love whipping this up for a sweet brekky or as a mid-afternoon sweet treat.
